Nearly 7 years ago, after working with thousands of patients at our Acupuncture clinic and observing how they are experiencing many health problems, we realized that the current fast-paced, immediate gratification, and tech-oriented lifestyle we live in, is becoming a huge contributing factor to the poor health of industrialized countries. We also felt stressed, overwhelmed, and fatigued carrying that type of lifestyle. It was then that we decided to embark on a journey to find a place where we could recharge our mind, body, and spirit in a way we never experienced before.
We visited many places such such as the Blue Ridge
Mountains, Rocky Mountains, Ojo Caliente in New Mexico, and throughout out Peru, but it was not until we landed at a very special spot in the rain forest of Costa Rica that we realized we found what we were looking for. This was it, the first time we came back home feeling a sense of well-being we had not felt before. This caused us to return just 3 months later for another experience. Upon returning we immediately started brainstorming how others could benefit from the amazing gifts this place has to offer and so we created our first Conscious Mind Mastery Retreat experience in March 2020. Since that first visit we have been back 10 times and of those have hosted 6 healing retreats.
It has been our life’s work to understand what the body needs to experience profound healing. Since 2005 we have been treating thousands of patients and observing their health, lifestyle, diet, habits, and emotions. In this conference we will integrate the ancient wisdom of Chinese Daoist Medicine, Qi Gong and the Modern Science of the HeartMath® Institute, to assess the body's state of internal energy and bring it back to balance and coherence.
This process is so simple, yet so profound in assisting all healing modalities in any clinical practice. It is an additional asset to help your patients in one-to-one and group workshops settings. By integrating this process, you can generate and additional source of income.

La Fortuna Waterfall
One of the largest waterfalls in the whole area is located just 15 minutes from where you will stay. The crystalline water of the Arenal River tumbles from a height of 70–75 meters over a cliff to form this beautiful waterfall. You will be amazed by the beauty nature provides: birds, monkeys, orchids and high concentrations of pure raw oxygen and negative ions that will elevate your senses and open your heart. Justin Fontanini, DOM, AP
Justin Fontanini has practiced Chinese Medicine in Florida for the past 17 years. He has practiced Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Meditation for over 20 years and has studied with many masters of these arts in both the USA and in China. He has been invited by various groups in Florida to perform Tai Chi at Chinese New Year events, Spring Festival events, and Chinese Dragon Boat festivals, among others.

Claudia Fontanini, MBA
Claudia is passionate about quantum healing and self-development. Her book "Manifest the Life You Want" was published in 2021. She has completed trainings in Feng Shui, Reiki, External Qi Healing, Tai chi, Qi gong, Meditation, Power of the Conscious and Subconscious Mind, Law of Attraction, and Yi Jing. She was a featured presenter at the Conscious Mind Mastery event in 2017, 2019 and 2021. She received her Master’s in Business Administration in 2004 from the University of South Florida.

Kimberly Gray is a holistic RN, Certified HeartMath® Master Trainer/Coach/Mentor and a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner/Instructor. A registered nurse for 38 years, Kimberly’s career path has been focused on Integrative Medicine and the use of holistic healing modalities. She has been viewed as a “pioneer” in bringing holistic modalities into the healthcare settings, supported by being featured on ABC, CBS, Bay News 9 and Bay News 9 Espanol.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the per-night group rate at Los Lagos Resort and Spa? The Resort has granted us a rate of $123 for the Standard room per night for two people which includes breakfast and all-day access to the Resort's hot springs pools. The Superior room discounted rate is $167 per night for two people which includes breakfast and all-day access to the Resort's hot springs pools.
Can I arrive early or depart at a later date? The Conference participants can arrive early and depart at a later date. The hotel will still honor the room rates for those additional nights. It is a very good choice if you can enjoy the area longer as it has so many beautiful sites to visit.
What are the fees for the optional field trips?
Our optional activities and fees (per person) are as follows (includes transportation):
- Sunday 10/15: Permaculture, Sustainable and Organic Farm tour with farm-to-table dinner $63
- Monday 10/16: Waterfall and rainforest hike and visit to La Fortuna square and shops $45
- Tuesday 10/17: Guided permaculture farm tour with exotic fruit trees and gardens. Swim at world-class restorative and therapeutic hot springs spa and enjoy a fresh gourmet farm-to-table lunch $88
How much do lunch and dinner cost at the Resort? Lunch and dinner at the Resort for the Conference attendees are $25 each. There are also many restaurants nearby that you can eat at. The front desk can get you a cab and then with the app called WhatsApp, you can communicate with that same driver or just ask him to pick you up at a certain time.
Can I rent a car or what are the options to move around the area? There is an option for both, renting a car or getting a cab to move around. The cost of the Conference includes transportation from SJO Airport to La Fortuna on 10/11. If you arrive on a different date, you can schedule a ride with Los Lagos Hotel Airport shuttle (be sure to contact them with enough time in advance).
There is also a car rental company in La Fortuna if you wish to rent locally. We usually move around by cab when we are not traveling with a group. Many tour companies include transportation, and that is another great option (we can suggest some tours for you).
Are there other activities that I can do at the Resort? The Resort has secured a 10% discount for those who wish to do zip lining and horseback riding on the premises. The regular fee for these activities is $59 per person.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept checks and credit cards. If you wish to pay with your credit card there is a 2.5% processing fee. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
